Dear Parents,

This week in the Student Book time, students are still learning about Unit 5 “Toys”. Students practiced how to say “doll, ball, car, & teddy”.

The new song for this week is called "Stand Up". Students are learning the basic commands used in a classroom such as "stand up, sit down, & jump" in this new song. They also reviewed "This Is a Doll".

And they also sang and danced the song "Teddy Bear Teddy Bear Turn Around". It's a lovely song that teaches children many different actions such as "turn around, touch the ground, jump up high, touch the sky, etc." Below is the link for the song:

Everyone also watched the new story “A Toy for the Twins”. It's a story about Dora and Boots buying a cool "Jack-in-the-box" toy for Dora's baby brother and sister who were sick. Dora and Boots had to travel and pass the tests by the "Russian Dolls" and the "Piano Gate". At the end Dora and Boots gave the new toy to the baby twins and they were really happy to get the cool toy. The lesson of the story is "Share Your Toys". :)

Keep learning & having fun. You are the best…!

Have a great weekend! :)
